Job Description
This two-year training program combines a Core Curriculum, seminars, and individualized faculty-mentored research focused on the identification, causes, progression, and treatment of developmental psychopathology. Training emphasizes multispecialty collaboration across basic and clinical science, with opportunities in molecular research, biomarkers, genetics, neuroimaging, epidemiology, phenomenology, treatment, and intervention science. Research spans disorders including ADHD, autism, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, aggression, conduct disorder, and substance use, and includes diverse populations from infancy through young adulthood and pregnant women. The program prepares trainees for research independence through manuscripts and grant submissions. Applicants must have a doctoral degree before starting and be U.S. citizens, non-citizen nationals, or permanent residents. Physicians, especially Child Psychiatrists, are encouraged to apply.
