Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will examine the role of human natural killer cell receptors diversity in the context of autoimmune disease. Recent work has identified that NK cell receptors for HLA class I molecules can be peptide specific. The focus of this project is to characterize any interactions with self-peptides presented by HLA class I that can stimulate autoimmunity via NK cells. Experience with in vitro and ex vivo cellular assays, and single cell data experiments, including bioinformatics analysis, are essential for this project.
